From in-depth white papers to light fact-checking on listicles, I’ve accomplished it all when it comes to editing. Part of my prowess stems from my ability to catch errors of all sorts. I’m extremely comfortable working with any type of style guide or editorial rules, as I’ve worked with dozens of company-specific style points over the years. By default, I edit everything in AP style, though I’m also able to edit according to AMA, APA, Chicago Manual of Style, or whatever other professional style guides you’d like me to follow.

In editing, I thoroughly check each piece for grammatical errors, sentence-level and paragraph-level flow, appropriate tone and voice, and factual inconsistencies. I also work hard to cut out fluff and filler. If a sentence isn’t adding value to the piece, there’s no point in having it take up space. Eliminating these areas of clutter streamlines ideas so readers stay interested and intrigued throughout the piece.
